The North Olmsted Police Department offers this free telephone reassurance program consisting of daily check in phone calls for older residents. Choose a time you would like to be checked in on every day and the department will contact you to ask “Are You Ok?” If you do not answer after two attempts an officer will be dispatched to your home to check on you.

The Oxcart Pantry is committed to providing healthy food assistance to residents of North Olmsted experiencing emergent need. The Oxcart Pantry provides food goods and household items to ease the burden of economic difficulties or catastrophic events which may be affecting individuals and families in North Olmsted. It is designed to supplement households and to provide added support for them to use their personal resources more effectively and eventually
become self sufficient.

Westlake Meals on Wheels is an independent, nonprofit service organization that delivers freshly prepared, well-balanced meals to our recipient’s door at an affordable cost.

The Senior Center refers to private companies and individuals in regards to services to seniors, including, but not limited to, home health aides and agencies, lawn care, snow removal, in home beauticians and barbers.

The Outreach Coordinator works with the North Olmsted Fire Department to identify and place smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors in households in North Olmsted that meet the Smoke Detector Program criteria including income.
